An “AV” rating is defined as “very high to pre-eminent” with the “highest levels of skill and integrity.” He and partner, Debra Miller, are the co-authors of the Personal Injury Law and Practice volume of the Indiana Practice reference series published by West Publishing Company, first published in 2007 and found in many Indiana law firm law libraries. They have edited the annual updates for that reference work. Mr. Fisher has been asked on many occasions to speak at seminars on various topics relating to trial skills.

Personal Injury Litigation. Mr. Fisher has tried serious personal injury and wrongful death cases throughout Indiana, representing both plaintiffs and defendants. He has been the plaintiff’s attorney in cases that resulted in the highest jury verdict entered in a personal injury action in three different counties, at the time the verdicts were entered. He has handled serious personal injury and wrongful death cases involving persons injured or killed in automobile accidents, airplane crashes, product failures, and industrial accidents.

Business Litigation. Mr. Fisher has represented insureds and insurance carriers in resolving coverage disputes of all kinds. He has represented property owners in mold contamination cases and fire loss claims. He has represented businesses in disputes arising out of the failure of company-sponsored ERISA plans. He has represented minority shareholders in disputes with majority owners of closely-held corporations, lawyers working out the dissolution of their law firms, and businesses in disputes with vendors, commercial customers, and competitors. He has litigated commercial real estate transactions, and claims of intellectual property rights infringement. He has provided business advice relating to both the prevention and the early, non-litigation resolution of business losses.
